From 13 September 2025, the English testing requirement for the 482 visa will change to incorporate new tests and scores as follows:

These new scores and tests only relate to tests taken on or after 13 September.

Another new development is that visa applicants can now utilise the One Skill Retake (IELTS) or Single Section Retake (MET) facilities, if they fall short of achieving the required score in one section. The tests are valid for 3 years from the original test taking date.
